The Civil Service Commission Region V recently conducted the Strategic Performance Management System (SPMS) Review and Enhancement Workshop to Performance Management Team of the local government units, human resource management practitioners and those involved in the implementation of strategic performance management system.

The Provincial Planning and Development Office conducted a stakeholders forum on the mainstreaming of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation (DRR-CCA) enhanced Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP) April 21 at the SP Session Hall. Fifty three participants composed of 17 municipal planning development officers, 12 municipal disaster and risk reduction management officers and 24 department heads and national agency representatives attended the stakeholders forum.
The provincial government recently relaunched all existing wellness programs that benefitted healthy conscious individuals in the province.
Spearheaded by Acting Governor Vince Revil and Acting Vice governor Atty. Kaye Revil, the fitness programs which included zumba ,ballroom and other dance exercises were back with some innovations.
The provincial government joined the month-long celebration honoring the fairer sex for their contributions to society. This year’s theme is “Juana, Desisyon mo Mahalaga sa Kinabukasan ng Bawat Isa, Ikaw Na!” The culminating activity held in the afternoon of March 18 saw women from all walks of life gathered at the Capitol Grounds and enjoying the many freebies and perks provided by sponsoring agencies.
